Journalism and Creative Writing. Her undergraduate degree was in
English.

Writers (1999-2002). She served on the national
board of Romance Writers of America. She also served as
Library Liaison for Romantic
Times Magazine.

Lives in the Midwest with her husband of fifteen
years and her two blessings, Caitlin
and Hailey. They have two cats, a Golden Retriever,
and two miniature Dachshunds, Gretchun and
Maya.
Gretchun is the perpetual three-year-old in the family. Lori's
newest pet is a turtle named "Sunny." He is a red-eared slider.
He was purchased for her youngest daughter, who promptly grew bored with
him. However, Sunny has found a spot in Lori's heart. When
he first came home, he was the size of a quarter. Now he is about
the size of a silver dollar. He never goes in his shell and loves
to swim. He thinks he can "hide" in his little rock, but everyone
can still see him. Shhh! Don't tell Sunny. Her spare time is spent reading books, singing
in the church choir, and writing
reviews.
